The usually mild climate of Whidbey and Camano Islands makes them a perfect escape all year round. Unique in the Northwest, temperatures here seldom fall below freezing or exceed 80 degrees. Fortunately located in the rain shadow of the Olympics, Camano Island and most of Whidbey Island receives less than half the average rainfall of Seattle.
